Choosing your first Forever class

Choose around the way you like to play, then use a build to test it.

Start with a role

If you want to lead pulls, start with tank-capable classes. If you enjoy watching party health, start with healers. For damage, decide whether being near the enemy or managing distance feels better.

Compare the everyday loop

Try a short quest session before deciding from a talent capstone alone. Recovery time, pet management, positioning and available utility affect every encounter, while an endgame talent may be weeks away.

Plan one job at a time

A hybrid can have several roles without doing all of them equally well in one build. Save separate plans so you can see the trade-off in points, gear and group expectations.

Avoid false certainty

Beta tuning can change rapidly. Ragetusk does not publish a universal class tier list without a defined test and current evidence. Use the class pages to compare playstyles and known changes.
